Plains Indian Tiara
Conceived in the modern era of Plains Indian Culture, a new expression grew with the popularity of the, Wacipi, the Pow-wow. Indian style crowns graced a selected Pow-wow Princess and promoted the Pow-wow Organization. Usually creatively expressed with beadwork or Porcupine Quillwork, occasionally a Silver metal Tiara is commissioned to be worn by present year’s Pow-wow Royalty.
